Praxis awarded open source BI Tender

Praxis has been selected to develop a Business Intelligence system as part of the IFMS (Integrated Financial Management System).The IFMS is a multi-billion rand government initiative to implement a modern public service system.

The IFMS is a multi-billion rand government project to modernise and integrate public service systems. It is being implemented using off-the-shelf applications and custom software development in a mixed Open Source and proprietary environment.

This particular tender is for the replacement of Vulindlela, Treasury's current BI system. A key requirement is the use of open source business intelligence tools in the project. Praxis has expertise in both business intelligence and open source systems.

The project will run for one year.
